Bill Self winning 14 straight Big 12 titles is one of the most impressive things a college basketball coach has ever done. I don’t think anyone will ever come close to breaking that record in a power conference ever again. Just so absurd.
Houston turned into Kansas and we turned into Pre Kelvin Sampson Houston when they were in the Conference USA. Sad!
This is incredible: Houston is 37-4 in Big 12 games since it joined the league. But how about this? Cougars have won 16 consecutive road games, all in league - 5 more than anybody in Big 12 history. Kelvin Sampson’s machine keeps humming at a HIGH level.
The biggest issue is the frontcourt depth. Flory is good. Tiller is having a nice first season, but he's being asked to do too much because you have nobody you trust behind him. They didn't develop Mbiya/nobody else is there. Why'd they think 3 bigs on the roster was a good idea?

KU’s conference schedule lowkey looks favorable. Good chance they can go into part one of the Sunflower Showdown 6-0 in Big 12 play, where I think things for KU and the whole Big 12 will start to intensify. We’ll see. Remember, it’s an 18-game conference schedule now. Not 20.

KU beat UConn two years ago and had the type of season they did while UConn went on and won the National Championship. This loss isn’t necessarily the end of the world when you look at it that way I guess. The guys fought hard tonight but it’s clear that KU needs DP back bad.
