It’s cold in most parts of the U.S. right now. Please remember to keep warm and stay hydrated. Also, take your meds.
In ATL it’s humid and warm. As a sickle cell patient, our toughest time is when the weather goes from hot to cold. Stick to normal regimen.
Make sure you’re taking Folic Acid (Folate) daily and staying hydrated in this weather. Take all meds as directed to stay healthy! #SCtips

Many people that have #SCD don’t speak about it because they always feel that no one understands them. Well we’re here & we understand!
#SCD is a disorder that affects the red blood cells. Normal red blood cells can live for 120 days, sickle-shaped cells live only 10-20 days.
