This initiative provided crucial emotional support, enabling participants to share their experiences and coping strategies. Along with therapy, attendees received health education and routine medications to empower them in managing their health effectively.
The session also emphasized workplace mental wellness, highlighting the importance of prioritizing mental health. 13/10/2023 we partnered with @sicklevive community to host a group therapy session for sickle cell survivors and their caregivers.

We thank Dr Ubi Tonghe who is an orthopaedic surgeon, she conducted an informative health education session on managing sickle cell, covering chronic pain, mental health, and the importance of early detection and regular health checks. We appreciate you! ✨
On the 13th of October we had our first official event; (SickleVive 1.0), we were able to share free routine drugs for sickle cell warriors, conduct health education sessions and group therapy sessions! We are grateful to everyone that attended!!❤️
I was privileged to speak at the 2nd Edition of the Girlpower Program hosted by hssnafrica under the natineeesolutions. I was able to speak to the young sickle cell warriors, encouraging them to find strength in the fact that they can do anything! 11/10/24
