In my leadership coaching, I always start with clarity. Clarity is about knowing. Do you know what to do/say? When you join a company, the onboarding is to ensure that you know what is expected and what to do. If you fully understand the mandate, all mistakes you make are real
Clarity is knowing what to do… Do you know what to do? Do you know what you’re doing right now? If you hesitated, that means there is a smudge of uncertainty, the “not knowing”, which is fine and normal. However, we should strive for clarity, even when we know it can’t be 💯
