Starting my journey into Rust development. I'll be sharing insights, learnings, resources and everything i pick along the way right here. Looking forward to connecting with fellow developers and growing together. #rustlang
Just finished my first CLI project while learning rust. Have a look at it and any corrections or recommendation will be appreciated. github.com/silentbitcode/…
Finally everything is making sense:) What a rusty day! Unto the next topic.
Today's progress. Still getting my hands dirty trying to understand ownership and borrowing in rust. At first found it challenging grasping some tasks but a mind blowing YouTube tutorial by Doug Milford made it easier. Time to go touch some grass.

Exploring the rust lang book, rust playground and rust std library. Truly enjoying the rust lang learning journey.
Read this as i was looking on a tutorial on cargo(.)toml on setting up everything and dependencies. Just making the foundation strong as i build up. Small but healthy progress. semver.org
In Rust, don't borrow if you don't have to!. Realized this sacrifices performance and goes against the idiomatic style of Rust
I was exploring @praptichilling FileOrganizer solid foundation, but I felt it could be even smarter. So I jumped in and raised a PR with some upgrades: 1. Duplicate detection to avoid repeated files 2. Date-based sorting by last modified date 3. Real-time watch mode to…
Found this great blog post by @rapodaca explaining Ownership and borrowing. I enjoyed how he explains things and saw some great projects on his GitHub. depth-first.com/articles/2020/…
Today's progress. Tackled ownership in rust, was an amazing topic and actually one of the best topic i've studied. Didn't finish it all, will do more and when done i'll share a blog post i'll be writing on the same.

Eye on the price. Grind mode still on. All am doing is Paying attention to details, understanding the fundamentals, being curious and ready to make mistakes and learn from them.
Built a very simple file organizer in rust in 40 lines. 🦀 Automatically sorts messy folders by file type - images, videos, audio, docs, etc.
Build "Git" in Rust from Scratch - Master Rust's ownership system while building something you use every day. And understand what the hell .git actually does under the hood. Playlist - youtube.com/playlist?list=…
Unpopular opinion. Alot is learnt from getting hands dirty than learning.

Today's progress Tried building random stuff from all the basic concepts i've learned so far. Building 3 projects using the knowledge acquired (no referring to docs or Ai). Once done i'll move into Ownership in rust. #LearningInPublic
Suck -> Suck -> Suck -> Stuff now works.
The approach to mastering difficult skills by prioritizing challenging tasks early in the learning process, followed by deliberate practice and application is something that helps me understand most topics. #ultralearning

I manifest this declaration: By the power of the borrow checker and the immutable laws of ownership, I commit to securing a Junior Rust Developer role in the Blockchain or Defense sector . I will build resilient, memory-safe systems. Let the games begin. #rustprogramming
Wanted to use #![allow(non_snake_case)] compiler directive and use the solidity's camelCase then remembered am not writing code for my self but will be viewed by other devs. Decided to stick with the rusty way.
