Great insight Raelene. Travelled through regional Pakistan in 2021. Very little refrigeration. The amount of people in our country with limited understanding of other cultures let alone other Australians outside their Facebook friendship group is frightening.
💯agree Carrie what gives us the right as a lucky country to tell other nations & different culture’s, how to live & what to eat, we cannot deny the rights of other culture’s to eat protein they way they want it. I call it racism & people who deny others of protein as racists.
As a producer, having just built Australia's newest export abattoir, I'm a strong supporter of live ex. Why, because they increase competition, which creates stronger markets & more resilient farms. I note you state "major" processors, is that because you oppose competition?
