There is no justification for putting a mother and her infant child through this kind of trauma. New York's Civilian Complaint Review Board should immediately investigate Jazmine Headley's arrest and the NYPD should be held accountable.

Jazmine Headley was minding her business, sitting on the floor at a social service office because of lack of available seats and NYPD officers were captured on video violently tugging at her 1-year-old child, while she laid on the floor during the arrest.

ICE mistook Peter Brown's identity and wanted to deport him to Jamaica — and this Florida sheriff illegally jailed him to help ICE out. Peter repeatedly told the jail that he's a US citizen, but no one listened. Now he's suing.

This week I went to dive spot in DC for some late night food. I chatted up the staff. SEVERAL bartenders, managers, & servers *currently worked in Senate + House offices.* This is a disgrace. Congress of ALL places should raise MRAs so we can pay staff an actual DC living wage.

Thank you, @RepJayapal. It shouldn’t have to take a member of Congress physically showing up herself to get ICE to stop violating international law *as an exception.* From jailing children to banning folks based on their religion, this Admin has been criminal from the start.
