Superb crew. Trying see if I can fit in as a secondary payload. Efforts thus far are futile.
I love everyone on the Callisto team so much for actually sending my message @LMSpace !!! 216,883 miles from Earth. “Hello, we’ve been trying to contact you regarding your cars extended warranty…” #artemis1 #callisto #webex @Webex #alexa @alexa99 #lmspace #nasa @NASA #Orion
Onward to Mars! 👀 Take a sneak peek at a 3D-printed simulated Mars habitat at NASA’s Johnson Space Center that will be home to four crew members for a 1-year Crew Health and Performance Analog sim that starts next summer.
As teams complete post-storm recovery operations, NASA has determined it will focus Artemis I launch planning efforts on the launch period that opens Nov. 12 and closes Nov. 27. MORE: go.nasa.gov/3CCVy41
According to @DJSnM, the last DART image was about 100m across. For us 'Mericans I put it on top of a football field so you can see how big those boulders were.
ATLAS observations of the DART spacecraft impact at Didymos!
Here are the first images taken by #LICIACube of #DARTmission impact on asteroid #Dimorphos. Now weeks and months of hard work are now starting for scientists and technicians involved in this mission, so stay tuned because we will have a lot to tell!
IMPACT SUCCESS! Watch from #DARTMIssion’s DRACO Camera, as the vending machine-sized spacecraft successfully collides with asteroid Dimorphos, which is the size of a football stadium and poses no threat to Earth.
Artemis I Update: NASA will roll the Artemis I Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft back to the Vehicle Assembly Building on Monday, Sept. 26. First motion is targeted for 11 p.m. EDT. MORE: go.nasa.gov/3LL6m2O
A final decision on rolling back to the Vehicle Assembly Building will be made tomorrow, but this step-wise approach gives our employees time to address the needs of their families while preserving a launch opportunity if conditions improve. go.nasa.gov/3DNILfN (2/2)
Thanks to our partners at @NOAA, @SpaceForceDoD, & @NHC_Atlantic and their high-quality forecasting, we're standing down from our Sept 27 #Artemis launch attempt. To protect our employees and the integrated stack, we will begin configuring the vehicle to roll back. (1/2)
Nice visualization of the #Artemis1 trajectory! This trajectory was designed at #JSC by my group. We generated 100s of thousands of them (every minute of every launch day for several years).
Artemis 1 launches Monday on a 6-week round trip to the Moon. Trajectory courtesy of @NASAJPL Horizons. #Artemis @NASAArtemis orbitsimulator.com/gravitySimulat…
The launch of #Artemis I is no longer happening today as teams work through an issue with an engine bleed. Teams will continue to gather data, and we will keep you posted on the timing of the next launch attempt. blogs.nasa.gov/artemis/
✅ No impacts from strikes to lightning towers 🚀 @NASA_SLS core stage powered up 🔋 @NASA_Orion and core stage batteries charged 📺 Live coverage of tanking operations will begin at midnight on NASA TV, nasa.gov, & NASA app MORE: go.nasa.gov/3CHhFXd
Teams have completed the retraction of the Crew Access Arm (CAA), putting it into launch configuration for #Artemis I. While @NASA_Orion is uncrewed on this first mission - the CAA, at the 274-ft level on the mobile launcher, provides entry and emergency egress to the spacecraft.

We are “go” for tanking. @NASAKennedy teams will soon begin loading the @NASA_SLS rocket with fuel and conduct leak checks to make sure the tanking is proceeding as expected. Follow @NASAGroundSys for real-time updates: go.nasa.gov/3LIEefE
