Global ecology is so dependent upon the rich diversity of arthropod species; from multitudinous insects to the predatory diversity of spiders and their kin. All arthropods matter, yet we still have so very much to learn about most. #Biodiversity #Ecology
A particular area of interest for me has always been the ways in which spiders (& their kin) partition resources and avoid competition via niche. Prey selection is key with speciation & niche specialisation enhancing energy flow in terrestrial ecosystems. #LoveSpiders #Ecosystem
