My dad’s death caused me to spiral & my friends death caused me to ask for help. It also made me determined to get back in touch with myself and my intuition. To live more loudly. To try to enjoy the days as best I can. Because they’re not guaranteed. To be careful who I trust.🖤

But the only thing worse is being stuck in neutral… lying to yourself that it’s something else. Like your brain is protecting you from realizing you’re just too scared to live or let anyone else in. Do you resort to people who you think “understand you”. But they don’t.
When you start to move forward some in healing & you start to put more people in the rear view for your own mental health. Then a wave of loneliness, sadness, emptiness hits & you realize you only looked back because you were too scared to go forward…
