On this day in 1862, the so-called “great” Abraham Lincoln ordered the largest mass execution in U.S. history. The condemned weren't Confederate traitors, they were 38 Dakota Sioux. Lincoln also sanctioned the removal of all Native Americans from Minnesota. He was not a good man!
