It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Dr. Anil Kapoor, a dedicated #kidneycancer specialist, surgeon, researcher, professor and our Board Vice Chair. We are grateful to have had Dr. Kapoor as our champion and friend. He will be missed.
Our grant was not funded by CIHR, but we received a bridge from the Cancer Research Institute (priority announcement) for one year. It will give us the opportunity to perform key experiments to come back, Thank you!

Jeremy Ingham was a remarkable young man. At 17, he was diagnosed with bone cancer and died in 2017. Unable to pursue his own dream, Jeremy established the Jeremy Ingham Cancer Research Trust @IWKFoundation so others like Casandra could follow theirs.
