Recently facilitated a remote community peer placement w/ @SLTHuddsUni #slt2b. Some reflections: 🖥️If telehealth fails, back up plans are key! 🔗Encourage peer working. 🗺️ Planning ahead for sessions is essential. 🌈Provided a chance to work with a variety of aetiologies.
We’ve got some great students with us from @SLTHuddsUni at the moment! 😀 ⚡️Their 3 week placement includes a blend of adult acute neuro wards, adult community via telehealth and independent learning. ⚡️Working with different clinicians and aetiologies including voice and PD.
It's that time again! After a lovely break visiting family in Austalia, I'm back in research mode. I'm seeking any people with acquired facial palsy who might want to discuss their experiences within a focus group. Next session is in February and another in March. Please share
