The source of the heat has been found. That salamander in the stove hatched some eggs, so now we have eleven baby salamanders to deal with.
It's surprisingly hot in here today. We must have some serious coals in the fireplace.

Ah, the Duke sent someone in to collect the long wooden rod of unthinkable purpose. Mystery solved.
The new recipe is cooking up nicely. It is mostly made of gumroot with a bit of pine resin and a dash of saffron.
