Just how many organizations are standing with us? So many that we needed a second tweet just to show them all.
The Taxis For All Campaign has signed onto the Taxi Worker Alliance's call for debt relief for medallion holders--because drivers need it and we need accessible taxis! @NYTWA @NYCMayor
Our coalition of support is growing bigger, stronger & more determined to fight for justice for New York's taxi drivers until victory is ours. Dozens of community groups are now behind the call for a city-backed guarantee on medallion debt. With your solidarity, we cannot lose.
Without drivers, we're stuck! The Taxis For All Campaign came out in support of the Taxi Workers Alliance today. The TWA is protesting at City Hall for long overdue debt relief. @NYTWA @nyctaxi
Thank you @TaxisForAll your solidarity never waivers or fails us and we are so grateful for it. We are in 100% agreement.
We support debt relief for drivers whose livelihoods are at severe risk because of bad policy decisions made at City Hall, just not by using funds meant to make taxis accessible. The TLC, City Hall, Albany and Washington must do the right thing now. @NYTWA @nyctaxi @NYCCouncil

Yesterday, a state judge rejected a claim by Uber that New York City's vehicle cap is illegal -- good news for all. Of course, the "cap" does allow Uber drivers to put wheelchair-accessible vehicles on the road no matter what. Maybe they should do that. nypost.com/2019/11/01/jud…
If you order an accessible Uber, Lyft, Via or local car service and your ride took forever to come--or didn't come at all, make sure you complain to the TLC. All for-hire vehicle companies are required to offer prompt accessible service. www1.nyc.gov/site/tlc/passe…
Uber's at it again, suing New York City's Taxi and Limousine Commission over its "cap" on new licenses and cruising. But there's actually no cap on new licenses -- just a cap on licenses for non-accessible vehicles. What's Uber's problem? autoblog.com/2019/09/21/ube…
Speaker Nancy Pelosi called Bristo recently to offer well wishes. Parsons said, “The speaker said something along the lines of, ‘I wish there was something I could do.’"... Bristo responded: "You can. Move the Disability Integration Act to committee and to a floor vote."

Two accessible taxis and an accessible bus wait for a light on Adams St. in downtown Brooklyn. On the 29th anniversary of the ADA today, we also salute the power of disability advocates who've sued and won lawsuits that brought these changes to New Yorkers.
