Coding nowadays compared to 2023 it’s like night and day. It’s not a bubble, it’s a clear revolution.
In a little over a year, we’ve gone from Level 1 to nearly Level 4. Level 5 is the boss fight, so it won’t be easy, but we’ll get there within two years, at most. The question is, what’s next? What will Levels 6 through 10 look like? We should start thinking about that now!

I gave ChatGPT Codex an article & screenshot from a famous, lost Maxis simulation, SimRefinery, and asked it to create it for me. It built a playable prototype for me while I did other stuff, never touching any code once, instead just occasionally poking Codex for small changes.
