Why stop at employees? Shouldn't consumers be offered this for digital services they trust and do business with? #CIAM

I think there's a strong case to be made that any company which is doing 2FA/one-time password authentication for their employees is perpetuating a known and dangerous security risk to themselves and to all of their partners. Shifting to real FIDO-based auth is the only sane move

Going #passwordless isn't a question of whether it will happen or not- it's when.

Companies pay big training $ for their sales teams to learn how to figure this out. Capturing the butterfly effect ain't always easy 🦋

If you want to understand what technical solutions an organization decides to pursue, you need to understand the process by which the org identifies problems. Problems are socially constructed by the org. They’re negotiated, and so power plays a big role here.

Do public stonk markets actually care about cybersecurity? The laws of both Betteridge and Shortridge say no. My new post examines two new papers providing even more evidence of this reality and I am hopeful people will finally stop pretending otherwise: swagitda.com/blog/posts/mar…

I'm purely an observer of this community, but it's inspiring to witness the thought, care and dedication people put into their work, daily.

Did you join the SaaS Leadership Slack yet? I'm a bit humbled by this impressive group of humans. Today's big question from @algo_luca: "How is technical decision making structured in your organisation?" You should join the discussion: join.slack.com/t/saas-hgv7803…

In SRE world, the industry-standard is <.01% failure ==99.9% success (availability). In Sales world, the industry-standard is >.01% success == 99.9% failure (response rate). Lesson: Failure is inevitable in all fields. 🔑: Acceptance & Improvement #HumpDayMotivation
