Currently juggling two very different #digitaltransformation projects: one $30K and one $100M. Despite their clear size differences, both have given me the opportunity to work with aspirational leadership and great teams to tackle challenging and complex problems. I ❤️them both.
Much of #innovation consulting focuses on the ideation processes. But to succeed there has to be a business case. All the traps, whether in the public or private sectors, are found in the #leadership (political) culture, the treasury (investment) function and the selling model.
Where #Web3 millenials and I part ways: the #uxdesign value of #Microsoft ribbon tabs. According to #ChatGPT "overall, the Microsoft ribbon tabs is an example of how #uxdesign is a trade-off between functionality and ease of use... but it may not be suitable for everyone."
Alan is right. The word #innovation is overused in articles about #Space and #quantum and under-utilised to progress 99% of the operational environments we have. That’s why organisational redesign and cultural change is key to the transformation agenda. We are the change.
Inflation increases will drive up an organisation's existing costs, so find ways of innovating that don't require new investments or scarce high-end expertise. Drive what you have hard!
