19 years ago, Steve Jobs announces iPhone. "An iPod, a phone, and an internet communicator. An iPod, a phone… are you getting it?! These are not three separate devices- This is one device, and we are calling it iPhone."

Oh, that pickle's gonna be popular!

Apple CEO succession speculation again points to John Ternus as the leading candidate, but multiple strong candidates still make it anybody's guess who will helm Apple after Tim Cook retires. appleinsider.com/articles/26/01…

Whoever the next CEO of Apple turns out to be I hope they emphasize a need to shore up their core services like iCloud, Mail, etc. Seems like they've let these things go stale to focus on selling iPhones for a decade.

They could do worse.

He named the company Apple because it came before Atari in the phone book. 🤣

WHOA! Between this and what's happening at @ProtonPrivacy Not-Big Tech is really getting tired of Europe-Lite countries!

Tinder wants your dick picks to find your soulmate. No thanks.

Think you have chemistry? How can you be sure without letting an AI look at both of your photo rolls to check? Tinder is testing combining this invasive practice with "interactive questions" to help you find a match. I would do anything for love, but I won’t do that… 1/2

If you're wondering how bad it is to go takeout.google.com and do a FULL Google Takeout on your account. Then just look at all the json, html, and csv files with the data they've collected on you.

The entire world is moving to criminalize privacy. We can't let them do that. Privacy is the foundation of a free society. Privacy is protection against powerful people. Privacy is normal.

This is why I exclusively use ProtonOS and the Proton Browser!

WHY ARE YOU STILL USING GOOGLE!? (I know... I know... you can't escape YouTube...)

Once again, Google has decided for you that your data is its toy. Here's how to stop Gmail from training its AI on your email. By @Amber_M_Neely appleinsider.com/inside/macos/t…

I used to think privacy was a human right. After following @ProtonPrivacy and @naomibrockwell and others I've come to learn it's neither a right nor something that should even be expected in 2026. What happened to us, fellow humans?
