For some reason, I have a firm belief that humans will always find something to do and exchange goods for. I just worry that the market won’t be too kind to those who have a hard time quickly reiterating and adapting their skills.

You will learn more about how your product is used by just talking to 10 users than almost any other method out there. Ask them what they do, what they’d don’t like, and what they’d want to do. It takes an hour, and you’ve probably learned as much as a month of analysis.

This is why a duo like Jobs/Wozniak was quite unstoppable. Jobs being a great executive among other things and Wozniak a great engineer. Each one compensating for the other’s weaknesses in a way that highlights their strengths.
