Got an X notification for something that sounded interesting. But it wasn't, it was shitty. Anyone following not already on the other site, the links in the profile. Probably won't be here very often.

Creating Dashboards with .NET 8’s New Metrics!

.NET 8 is going to be a bombshell of a release 🔥. There are a TON of improvements but one of the things I'm most excited about is better out of the box metrics for our http and networking stack. We're also looing to ship grafana default dashboards #dotnet

A post I wrote on the reaction to Amazon Prime Video's recent blog on moving from serverless to monolith. I try to unpick the aftermath and then get a bit grumpy about how serverless oversold itself. blog.container-solutions.com/reflections-on…

Totally agree, you need to put the effort in to ensure your team is being the best they can be.

People manager, would you agree that being a *good* manager of a team is hard work? Not meaning that you don't enjoy it, but more so the fact that since people are complex, actively pouring in to and uplifting each team member consistently is a lot of work.

Hey folks. What's the best platform to find remote jobs for #dotnet developers? Most of the sites I know are mainly for frontend or JS devs.

I'm seeing a lot of hysteria about AI going around. People worried about 'losing their jobs to AI'. As someone who worried a lot about this kind of thing early in my career, my (unsolicited) advice is: please don't worry about this. 1/
