Interesting that @DailyMailUK and the @thetimes wouldn’t even give me a look in with my first book Behind Gym Doors (released last year) but now they’re featuring a copycat Physio book that’s just been released. 😞

This is a great example of what I call: Biomarker Madness It's common in the health/fitness world Point to all these markers that change if you do X But, neglect the so what? In this study= No performance improvement (most studies = detrimental) & potential decrease in VO2max

A study tested 10 runners using nasal breathing. They found that their respiratory rate, breaths per minute & ratio of oxygen intake to carbon dioxide output lowered during nasal breathing. It allowed for more oxygen to get in the bloodstream. Source: tinyurl.com/y83o75ls

Another bang for your buck exercise utilising the med ball. - Its a heart and lung burner and can be scaled (weighted) to however you like. - Nice little combo exercise to do at the end of a workout as a ‘finisher’. - Give it a go and let me know your thoughts. - 💪🏻
