Brilliant. How very, very Scottish 🙌

Looked like a penalty. We’re doing it the Scottish way again!

THE REF’S VIEW: The VAR Review, Review

This has set a dangerous precedent because this will undoubtedly happen again with someone getting seriously hurt.

Collum trying to defend this shows no leadership. You can’t defend the indefensible & diminishes his reputation trying to absolve the VAR.

So after the dust has settled WC has decided to back up caution for Trusty the challenge on Butland - despite the ball being in both hands & studs/boot contacting head. We said at time caution but on review it’s a clear ordering off. The fact VAR never asked for review is awful

This is a very poor call unfortunately. No contact. Wrong decision of a caution. Kilmarnock player doesn’t do himself any favours by embellishing & embarrassing himself. x.com/caim67/status/…

The booking for Daizen Maeda is classic Don Robertson. Refereeing what he thinks he has seen rather than reality. Incredible decision. 😂

All the very best to Celtic, Rangers & Aberdeen tonight. @ACSOMPOD @ibroxrocks @AberdeenFanPage

We were sent this clip. That is a clear penalty. At the very least it should have been reviewed @des_roache @SMMediaEnt @ACSOMPOD @EwenDCameron

Thoughts on this one?

Just to reaffirm - we thought Trusty foul was an initial Yellow Card. Once reviewed it was clearly a Red Card. That’s what VAR is for. To allow a review if a C&O error made & it was a huge error. The culpable ones are the 2 VAR’s who watch it numerous times & agree!! Dreadful

Celtic were the better team and deserved to win. If Willie Collum was judged the way a football manager was, he would be relieved of his duties. This has been a game filled with inconsistency, uncertainty and no control by a referee he has backed to the hill.

Why is Ralston not being sent off?

Speed, force, brutality or intent which is the criteria for Serious Foul Play. We are in disagreement on this. It’s late and there’s no need to do that, ball is in Butland’s hand.

Red Card No malice but the contact was dangerous and fully justified

To clear up what is meant by this, we are not saying this is a right or wrong call because we can’t tell. The camera angle can’t give us a definitive answer, the blue line doesn’t allow us to determine whether the inside Livi player could be playing on.

Clearly a ruler hasn’t been used to draw these lines

Well done Don Robertson for over turning that dreadful VAR call to disallow @saintmirrenfc in @PremSportsTV semi final. It’s never a foul. Willie needs the coaching upped……….again as VAR is now getting a bit silly.
