Alfonsi was the reporter on a 13-minute “60 Minutes” feature this year that opened with a German police raid on a man’s apartment for posting a cartoon they didn’t like. There were no critical questions for the German speech police and zero pro-speech figures interviewed.

Bari Weiss has never really worked as a journalist. She is an opinion writer who runs an opinion Substack. The idea that she has insights that supersede those of the journalists at 60 Minutes is absurd.

They were shot by an Afghani terrorist who shouldn’t have been here. But President Joe Biden and the Democrats’ failed immigration policies let him into our country.

I think it's idiotic to overreact to a couple of elections in blue states, but a few thoughts: 1) Scot Pressler, TPUSA, and a bunch of others have been working hard to register voters. I said it in 2022, and I've said it repeatedly since: our coalition is "lower propensity" and…

Serious question for @maggieNYT & colleagues: how is it that the Times can find the time to write these two stories but hasn't yet mentioned Arctic Frost? Even if you don't think it's close to Watergate-level stuff, surely it's as newsworthy as this?

Yes, the real problem here is not the nonstop threats on their lives — but that they are shielded from protests.

A growing list of senior Trump political appointees—at least six by our count—are now living in military housing, where they are shielded not just from potential violence but also from protest, @michaelscherer @missy_ryan @AshleyRParker report. theatlantic.com/politics/archi…

AARP pocketed billions from UnitedHealth last year by taking a percentage of every Medigap premium. Then they lobbied Congress to extend subsidies that directly benefit their corporate partner. Seniors are paying more while AARP is cashing in. This is just sad.

Latest update to our @AmerComm @commit2seniors analysis of AARP/UnitedHealth financials is being finalized and the 2024 numbers are absolutely astonishing even to me. Truly obscene. You will never guess how much UnitedHealth paid AARP last year.

NEW: I reviewed a text chain provided by an acquaintance of Graham Platner where the person discussed with others Platner’s Nazi-like tattoo months before the story became public, undercutting claims Platner only recently learned of it. cnn.com/2025/10/24/pol…

I'm highly skeptical @Lis_Smith's social media posts changed the minds of ~37,000 Wisconsin voters in 2022. Failed candidates often look for others to blame, but typically the reason they lose close races rest squarely on the shortcomings of their campaign.

Sure sounds like a "political cover-up" to me.

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner tells AP he got a new tattoo to cover one seen as a Nazi symbol.

An SS tattoo on your chest, that you allegedly got while drunk and didn’t know what it was, but also told people you knew what it was, and chose not to get covered for 20 years doesn’t seem like that small a skeleton. It’s a Home Depot 22-ft Halloween special skeleton.

Not to overstate it, but this is a crucial moment for the Democratic Party. If they decide that normal people with some small skeletons in their closet (or inked on their chest) are not welcome, they are finished Because they’ve tried the other way and it didn’t work.
