Exactly. The Republican justification for both Garland and ACB is "the Constitution allows us to do it." This argument is PRECISELY as applicable to court expansion/reorganization and jurisdiction-stripping.

A lottttt of folks forgetting that senate republicans changed the number of justices on the bench to 8 when they denied hearings for months until they then found it advantageous to change it back to 9.
A party that will have lost the popular vote in 7 of 8 presidential elections by this time next month trying to impose its will on a governing majority through the federal judiciary is transparently illegitimate, and no majority coalition in American history has ever accepted it
