Dear followers, This post was met with an onslaught from 7 October rape deniers. The mass rape is not only factually established, it’s also very personal to me (knowing far too much about some of the cases). I am exhausted and nearing despair. Checking out for a while.
No feminist organization in the world condemned the mass rape and murder of Israeli women on 7 October, except Israeli orgs, and one (1) from Germany. Will any of them publicly support the Israeli women & mothers’ groups marching for a hostage deal and end to the war? I doubt it.
One of the most urgent crises in the criminal justice system is that allegations of rape and serious sexual offending take five years to reach trial. Any politician who claims to care about sexual violence and is silent on this issue has another agenda.
