Hi, I'm Toru, Your Guide in Japan
@ToruGuide
Hi, I'm Toru, a licensed guide, EN-02296, and I've been guiding international tourists to Japan since 2017. I'm a history buff, food enthusiast, and beer lover!
The special exhibition of Unkei, the 13th-century sculptor, is on display at the Tokyo National Museum now. Unkei’s sculptures of Buddhas and Gaurgian kings seem to emit power and energy, which overwhelmed me. They are amazing artworks!!

He is my favorite tuna auctioneer at Toyosu Market. His energetic gesture entertains my guests and always makes them show me big smiles. Thanks, Mr. Toyusu!
The Amaryllis Festival has begun in Saitama. I visited there last year and was impressed by the number of clustered ones. …n-cultural-traditional-experience.com/the-cluster-am…
It looks cute. It seems to saying to her friends, "Are you inviting luck to me?"
「ニンゲンはこういう感じにしたら喜ぶってマルオレさんから聞いたんですけど合ってました?」

A short promotional video of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle has been released. It's now playing exclusively in theatres. I want to watch it!!

涼風に蝉二匹だけ鳴く森よ With a cool breeze coming, the thunderous chorus of cicadas has gone, and now only two are still singing in the woods. I miss their sounds, but I also welcome a new season. #haiku #俳句 #cicada #autumn

刈り株から薫る青稲初々しく I enjoyed walking along the path by the rice field, where rice has been harvested. Young sprouts are still growing from the cut roots, among the rice that is left to be harvested or dried under the sun. I felt the great power of nature. #haikui #俳句…

It’s so beautiful, Mr Fuji standing behind a green tea leaf field.
I practiced Zen with my mentor monk at Endhoji Temple while I was in Imabari, my dad’s hometown, for a week. It helped me refresh my mind and feel comfortable. I know I’m still very far away from reaching enlightenment, but I like the moment when I sit in the temple's worship…

Imabari in Ehime, Japan, is famous for its shipbuilding. The monument of the most enormous propeller of a big tanker stands just in front of the city hall.

I practiced Zen at Enshoji temple in my dad’s hometown, Imabari. Although I have not yet reached or been close to enlightenment, I felt a brief moment of calmness in my mind when I fell into a deep spiritual zone for a second.

I didn’t know anything about Niodo Blue in Kochi, Japan. I should visit there soon! niyodoblue.jp/en/?lang=en
Japanese native morning glories, Fujimusume, purple girl, and Kurenai, deep red, bloom in my terrace.
