Dirk 😂😂😂

He's also the guy who miraculously got John Mateer back on the field from a broken hand in two weeks for the Texas-OU game. Now, granted, Mateer threw three picks in that game and generally looked quite bad, but it's still an impressive surgical accomplishment

Dr. Shin is one of the best in the business and has performed surgery on Devin Booker, Scottie Barnes, Steph Curry, and numerous others.

In hindsight, it really seems like he was trying to destroy the franchise I'm sure he wasn't. It's just that he was THAT MUCH of a fool.

Again.

Even with passage of time, it gets no less unfathomable that Nico was able to perform the incredible mental gymnastics required to overlook AD’s injury history

Moving Young also provides Atlanta with added financial flexibility to pursue a large salary over the next several months – with Dallas Mavericks star Anthony Davis as a prime in-season trade target.

I don't know how minor AD's latest injury is, but the Mavs are now boxed into a perpetual situation where they can't risk playing him through even a minor injury that many players might be able to push through That dynamic makes his already troubling injury history even worse

been thinking a lot about this tweet as I pack for this year’s @PopTartsBowl

I asked if it was offensive to eat a Pop-Tart in front of the @PopTartsBowl mascot and then its handler yelled out “ITS THEIR DREAM” and then the mascot grabbed a Pop-Tart out of my hand and started force-feeding it to me while making soft grunting noises

Why is Doris Burke seemingly unable to pronounce the very common name “Donovan”?

Boy that is a nasty 4Q for the Mavs. Conceding 38+ points to the Pelicans?

There is a stat that I really like available on @The_BBall_Index which is Play Type versatility and seeing Cooper Flagg already with the 20th highest mark is very interesting. I wrote about how his game is constantly evolving in a great way ⬇️ open.substack.com/pub/nbastudy/p… #NBA #MFFL

Bad shooting, committing turnovers, and poor rebounding puts a team significantly behind the math-curve that makes it almost impossible to win games. Ryan Nembhard fixed two of those issues and it's a big reason why the Mavericks look so competent. My latest for @DMagazine

This is why it is perfectly fine that they are waiting until the offseason to fill the position and could play out the year, more or less, with the roster at hand. You do not want to jump the gun on trades if you don't have to. The right offer is most important here

It can't be overstated how important it is for the Mavs to nail the permanent GM hire. They have once again, this time through sheer luck, accomplished the hardest part of building an NBA contender. Now, they need a GM with real bona fides to properly build around this guy

You would have liked to see the Mavs get that win for Coop after that performance. Then again, losing games is probably in their best interest at the moment. Tough dilemma.
