Just In: Former University of Iowa assistant football coach Reese Morgan will be a recipient of the 2024 Tom Osborne Legacy Award. The Osborne Legacy Award goes to honorees involved in promoting interior line play on the field and showed leadership and integrity off the field.

The West High soccer field was paid for by fundraising, not from the district. I know West would be THRILLED to have a turf facility that close to the building that could be used by multiple sports, PE & marching band. Grateful for everything we get from the district.
It would be nice if they could give City High a quality soccer field —-JUST FOR SOCCER—- like IC West And Liberty have. Longfellow field would be great space. Turf. Fenced. Lights —-JUST FOR SOCCER—-
Prairie: Gone is the coaches room of cold meat sandwiches, still a good selection of chips & drinks. The concession workers tried to tell me they only sell mac & cheese at football games, which I know is not true, so I missed out on the delight of a mac & cheeseburger. 5.3 🍔
Concession Stand Review: Prairie A nice selection, including tenderloin, chicken, burgers, & walking tacos. I went with the Mac & Cheese which was warm and very tasty. They had sandwiches, chips, and cookies for coaches, which also hit the spot. Overall Grade: 7.3/10
CCA: Chick-fil-a is a must, but couldn't pass up Depot pizza (side note: Depot dessert pizza is the best, thank me later). Also got a chance to check out @physicsramble coaching up the soccer team behind the stadium. Good night all around.
A competitive meet on a great ☀️ day, thanks for hosting @dcgactivities & @MadisonMelchert! Enjoyed sitting at the "Kidman Pavilion" to have a juicy cheeseburger at the alma mater of @CoachKidman. Also fun to see our 4x100 relay run the fastest time in the state so far!! 🏃♂️💨

In 8th grade I created City High as a team on Madden 2003 and added their playbook based on their actual tendencies. I played as them all week. By Friday I was calling out their plays from the sideline.
