iOS Engineer for @ParamountPlus

I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as iOS Developer at Paramount+! Being a full-time iOS developer at such an amazing company has been a goal of mine since I first became a Computer Science major in college. This is truly a dream come true for me.

Funny how little time it took Siri to lose functionality. iOS 6 on the left and iOS 9 on the right. Question was “what movies are in theaters right now”.

Like and share this if you want a Sora 2 invite

I don't know how long it will be in the future, but one day we will look back and laugh at how much room we had to give batteries in our devices. Similar to how now we laugh at the fact we used to use CDs to listen to 10 songs, now we have every song ever on our phone instantly

Anyone that uses AI for coding daily knows we are so, so far away from AGI

I don’t understand this. As a user, if this is what you want, simply just put that in your custom instructions. Isn’t GPT-5 supposed to be great at following instructions?

We’re making GPT-5 warmer and friendlier based on feedback that it felt too formal before. Changes are subtle, but ChatGPT should feel more approachable now. You'll notice small, genuine touches like “Good question” or “Great start,” not flattery. Internal tests show no rise in…

You know I've been working on a lot of web development lately for a particular project I've been working on. Today, I took a break from that and worked on iOS development and I realize wow I really do love iOS development the most among all stacks and platforms

To me, @cursor_ai seemed to have complete domination over the Vibe Coding AI IDE space. But since they changed to their new pricing model, I've turned to @windsurf and I don't think I'm going to go back. Windsurf is going to win by being everything Cursor WAS good at

You have $500 per month to spend on AI for your startup. What tools are you paying for?

Did we have a solar flare or something

Tony Stark never had to sell weapons. If he just made a chatbot out of Jarvis, he would have been a trillionaire

It’s amazing how developers around the world are rushing to build all these AI agents and apps. It’s super cool but also fascinating how quickly it’s developing and seems like engineers are rushing to create products that will make their own skills obsolete

Plan before you write code. Use test driven development. Design before you write code. Write requirements! Make flow charts! Understand what you want to make before you start making it! It sounds tedious and not as fun. But I promise it’s more fun than debugging

The first thing any computer science student or coding student should do is learn Git

I desperately wish there was a way to work on my apps from my iPhone, or at least work in Figma from my phone

Which do you prefer? I was thinking the smaller one since it's easier to use with one hand, but I'm not sure if it looks weird

As an iOS developer, do you think SwiftUI limits you? Or do you think it empowers you?
