Claude and Opus 3 lovers (and critics): what responses have you had that made you feel like the model has a good soul? Ideally the actual messages and/or responses. I might genuinely use these to eval models so flag if you wouldn't want me to use them for that. Can DM me also.
This app has mostly become people messaging me about Anthropic stuff. On the one hand, that's valuable and I want to help. On the other hand, it's work and this is my sacred space for posting dumb shower thoughts.
Well I finally got covid and it's one of the worst illnesses I've had in my life. Being a late covid bloomer sucks because it feels like everyone is like "covid is no biggie" and I'm like "why can't I breathe" 🥺
Wait, this is just a "new hire" thing at OpenAI? I'm still out here solving everyone's life problems
Please STOP asking ChatGPT so many questions. As part of a “new hire hazing” they are making @viemccoy write all the answers and she is VERY TIRED! STOP!!
Some people have audible notifications on their phone and I just don't know how anyone can live like that.
A book chapter I co-wrote many moons ago on longtermism just came out. I forgot we gave such dire warnings about going into academia 😆 academic.oup.com/book/60794/cha…

I'm learning the true Hanlon's razor is: never attribute to malice or incompetence that which is best explained by someone being a bit overstretched but intending to get around to it as soon as they possibly can.
We need to protect children from having their government ID linked to their adult online activity for the rest of ther lives. I'd like to propose some kind of online child safety act to this effect.
This is an important issue but I think this methodology tests how well Claude and Gemini can course correct multiturn ChatGPT conversations rather than how good they are at not getting into the situation in the first place, which is meaningfully different. nytimes.com/2025/08/08/tec…

Having a magazine report on the fact that I attended a social event feels like a new level of life strangeness. I didn't really expect my life to involve so many levels of life strangeness.
