Still mentally processing my experience photographing the aurora last Friday/Saturday night. Never would’ve thought I’d see the northern lights so strong in Oregon. #aurora #AuroraBorealis #northernlights

Walking through @TJoesOfficial today and @nineinchnails is playing… Wait just a minute - NIN is now grocery store music?!?

Well this is cool!

Is that a MOOSE? Yes, it's a moose!!! This is the first recorded moose sighting @MountRainierNPS & southwestern Washington! Could this be same moose recently observed on the I-90 wildlife undercrossing at Resort Creek? Check out @WSDOT’s video bit.ly/3FDSSEK @WDFW -tc/pw

Fantastic work from Alex. ‘Cooperline’ - so, so good!

For my birthday today, I'm giving myself the miracle of photobirth - by releasing the Death Valley collection I've had gestating for 9 months: alexnoriega.com/2022 Now, to go eat an entire Funfetti cake for breakfast. It's my BIRTHDAY, so I can do whatever the HELL I want!

Freakin’ incredible way to clinch a spot in the post season!

GOODBYE BASEBALL. HELLO POSTSEASON.

I’d say last night was fun…

Well, always wondered when I’d “get old”. Must be right about now, cause I have no idea how wrap around sunglasses, short shorts, and mid-calf high socks are a fashion trend again. I mean we ALREADY lived all that, right??…

Ok my hiking/photography friends. What alternatives to @gaiagps are there that you would recommend? I have LOVED Gaia, but of late errors with being able to download the maps I need is cause to look in other directions. For context I really like the ‘sat with labels’ layer. THX!

Thanks for sharing @natlandawards This image is a reminder of why photography is so wonderful: it captures a moment that may never exist exactly the same ever again. This grove of trees no longer exists. Even if I wanted, I could never duplicate this image.

Entrant @WiAdImages took advantage of soft light and shallow depth of field in this photograph in order to convey a sense of place, mystery, and calm. It is an excellent reminder that not everything need be tack sharp in order to produce impact.

Um…

Never seen anything like it. At Richmond bridge, Ca Plz Drive safe, wind is out of control Tag a friend and ask if they felt this wind today? #calistorms #bayareafirefighter

This morning was a good reminder to soak in the experiences, moments, and landscapes as a photographer. Because things change. Sometimes by the hand of others… (Top image this morning, bottom early 2018)

As a follow up to my last post: While the vibe in Moab is busier and more chaotic than I have ever seen - the restaurant workers I encountered tonight were kind, helpful, and patient even in the face of everything that would cause you to not be any of those things. Thank you! 🙏🏼

Holy shit! I know it’s been a few years, but Moab is a cluster f*%! What happened to that sleepy little town I fell in love with years ago? (rhetorical question)

That’s the kinda light we (photographers) live for. Beautiful Brent!

Damn these things. So, so, so good. I may have eaten 2 as my lunch yesterday. Glad I didn’t have a good way to transport a box home. 😂
