I decided to spend the last few days learning how to speedrun Hollow Knight, and got my goal of sub 1 hour!
Rivals 2 could be a much bigger game if they weren't deeply obsessed with the mechanic that makes your moves punish you for landing them. I know more people who bounced off the game because of FH than people who still play. I know there are balance reasons, but like damn dude.
New RoA2 patch cooks, all the plat Loxodonts hold down for my entire combo and take extra damage
Nightreign doesn't quite have the roguelike chops at launch that I was hoping for (it'll hopefully get them later). That being said, the highs of playing through the game with friends were SO much higher than I could have expected. Some of From's best fights, it's incredible.
It's so wild smash players failed to stop a broken top tier from ruining another game's meta. I guess maybe next game, fourth time's the charm?
Beating any top tier in RoA2 with Fleet feels like a herculean achievement. I deserve to be put into the history books for taking a single stock. I am fighting against an American M1 Tank with a plastic spork. I am David if he had no gods to pray to.
