If anyone's heard about some criticisms against @ScotParl's recent Gender Recognition Reform Bill, I looked into the data behind it and compiled the thread below. I learned a lot about the situation, so hopefully you find it enlightening #GRRB #Scotland #trans #SelfID 🏳️⚧️
Since transgender rights has become a topic of conversation over Scotland's GRRB and Self-ID, I thought I'd do some digging and look for some evidence over the accusations of it violating women's rights, mainly in prisons. Here's what I found. 1/
Remember that anti-trans and anti-queer activism is not just about trans and queer people. It's about any gender nonconformity whatsoever. It's about blocking anything you can do that won't please a very particular kind of male. Even if it's just a pixie cut.

Statistics have shown a fourfold increase in LGBTQ+ hate crime over the past 10 years. The response from some: 'You've brought this on yourselves'. If you don't see how messed up that is, I suggest a long hard look in the mirror and perhaps a conversation with a therapist?
Yesterday the British Equalities Minister (Kemi Badenoch) publicly and proudly announced that their attack on LGBTQ+ rights was made possible by intentionally placing people who are ideologically opposed to them in positions of power within apparently independent organisations

I hate to criticise commentators when they are doing their best, but it's pretty clear that they aren't stewards. For 51 & 99, if the 99 achieved *any* overlap (no matter how small) on the 51 whilst being fully on the track on the straight, 99 is entitled to space. @FIAWEC
@FIAWEC @MartinHaven Looking at the 6's on-board for the 6/87 crash, the 6 had clearly shown they were going for the move, but the 87 defended it and Possibly cut across the 6's nose when they were already committed to the move. Penalty is a bit harsh but I can see it.

This is exactly why rainbow capitalism was never going to save us. If your "support" collapses the second you get a fraction of what trans people get, that support never existed... heck, it was worse than never supporting at all because it made us feel safer than we were.
Pride is about protesting against the injustices LGBTQI+ people face each day. Pride is also about celebrating LGBTQI+ people. Let's continue to celebrate #Pride this month and beyond!
