Just got my copy of @JasonPLowery’s thesis. This should be interesting. There are two views of the military in the general public, one good and one bad. But even the good view doesn’t really comprehend the intricacies of just war and proper use of violence.
One of the good points @JasonPLowery makes about Bitcoin being violence would be that mining hardware would be an arm…and arms has a specific meaning for Americans. The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. The court precedent isn’t there, yet, tho
Just because someone clearly doesn’t get #bitcoin, this doesn’t mean they are stupid. They might merely be failing to break free from their programming. If they’re smart, they’ll eventually understand bitcoin. The only question will be a what price?
