Non-confrontational people really scare me. People that can have so much resentment and not say anything are not to be trusted!!!!!
Lately, I've noticed everybody looks OK until you eventually have a deep conversation with them. And then, you'll realize that, this is a sad generation of people struggling to survive through smiling faces and pretty pictures.
The cheat code nobody talks about: Being reliable. Answer emails quickly. Show up on time. Do what you said. Keep small promises. Remember details. In a world where everyone is flaky, reliability looks like genius. It's not talent.
I genuinely enjoy changing my mind lol. Please show me new perspectives, I never want to stop learning
My son is 2 years old and itโs only NOW that Iโve started to feel like myself again. Postpartum is no joke.
The work that comes with raising a newborn is monumental and itโs the first time a lot of parents (as individuals) have had to be selfless and think outside of themselves, which is the struggle. No other milestone compares imo & itโs such a humbling experience.

In prep for my current writing project, I went through my photo library from the day I found I was pregnant and wow, what a journey๐ Iโm so relieved to be restarting therapy next week. 18 months on, Iโm settled into motherhood, my kid is amazing, itโs time to start my healing.
Women know how to be in community. I am so glad I know what itโs like to be loved by them โค๏ธ.

Everything leads back to being someone Iโm proud of & my son is proud of, not on an accomplishment level but on a character level. The most important thing for me is being able to look myself in the mirror, to live with integrity, to know I chose myself & didnโt sacrifice myself.
