Sent the proposal to the big client. No comment about the budget. Just timelines needed to be adjusted. This is what I like about big clients, they donโt mind spending. But I need to fit in with their window.
Yeah itโs me again coming back with the annual problem of not knowing how much to charge for a client who is super ready to spend. I need to write that proposal and see how it fares against the alternatives as usual.
ehh, I think I'm going to pass the IT lead offer. I'm very happy hacking things on my own.

Release day is a good day! Arrived at the office at 7.14am just for moments like these. So proud of my team, I'm slowly firing myself from the 'Release Engineer' title.
Smoooooth. Audited account done. Company progress slides done. Another 1 meeting today, pretty much sorted, except for budgetary table ๐ฌ. And the rest of the day Iโll be in my cave queitly working on some light documents.
Labeled my Enya so my 12yo & 8yo can makes sense of the notes to their keyboards.
Finally home after 2 weeks trip in Paris & London. I miss driving my dinosaur fossil guzzler machine. Would be great if we have a good transport system like the Underground tube.
