The majority of mainstream evangelical leaders who now laud Charlie Kirk's legacy after his death would almost certainly have seen him as "a problem" within their church congregation, sitting him down for numerous iterations of "the talk"... - "Some of the women are starting to…
If the next Charlie Kirk showed up at your church, would your pastors excommunicate him for being “divisive?” For his “tone?” For not “loving his immigrant neighbors” because he said “America is for Americans?” Many would. And that’s a huge problem.
Christ's people transcend national, cultural, and ethnic boundaries as God's “new nation” (1Pet. 2:9). But God is not indifferent to the particular character of nations and cultures within his great new nation. He appears to have no desire to squash everyone into a homogenous…
Great to record a podcast at the aptly named Wessex Christian Fellowship earlier this evening, where I will also be preaching over the weekend. Good to be in King Alfred's old county as we plot to bring Christ's kingdom in Britain once again.

Side walks. Houses that aren’t barricaded behind walls with broken glass on top. Cars that pull over for ambulances. These are just some of the myriad ways the Lord Jesus Christ has influenced the West. Insightful piece by @aaron_p_edwards
“It’s hard to describe how unsettling it is when you can no longer trust basic interactions in everyday commerce. Most western people do not have to think about this kind of problem because they live in a Christianised culture without even realising it. Although you still need…

Someone clearly forgot to tell the Papua New Guineans that Jesus said His kingdom is “not of this world”

"Dear Marginalised People, Our civilizational forebears bequeathed us many things of breath-takingly transcendent beauty and grandeur. We know you marginalised types like nothing more than to vandalise good things rather than build or maintain them, so why not come and do your…
The Church of England decided this week to cover the interior of the oldest cathedral in England in graffiti in order to represent the voices of “marginalised communities.” The Very Rev David Monteith, Dean of Canterbury, said: “There is a rawness which is magnified by the…

The pro-life Schindler strikes again!
Good news. A beautiful baby boy was born yesterday 9th Oct to a wonderful courageous Mum in the North of England. She had been administered Mifepristone in early pregnancy but regretted doing so immediately. With the help of APR using Progesterone, her baby's life was saved 🙏💛
Given the scale of cultural climate change we are experiencing in the West, these four assumptions are worth considering. the-seismos.com
To refuse to challenge "multiculturalism" within a Christian culture is to hate your neighbour by wilfully encouraging public idolatry and apostasy. There are 4 related assumptions which many Christians make (each one more ludicrous than the last) which demonstrate why they have…
"Left-wing unbelievers will be offended by churches that confront sins and call people to repentance. Right-wing unbelievers will be offended by churches that don’t confront sins and don’t call people to repentance." - @dmichaelclary
Are we in any doubt that the folly that spills from the over-fed mouths of the Church of England hierarchy with such unerring consistency, is evidence of the judgement of God?
Was horrified to see this graffiti on Canterbury Cathedral, founded by St. Augustine himsef, then I discovered it was actually an initiative welcomed by the Church of England! The work came from ‘marginalised communities’ According to the Dean of Canterbury: "There is a…

"The Christians who have spent most of their lives seeing people on the Right as the “pharisees” may be in for a surprise when they realise it just might be they who have become the pharisees, after all." thatgoodfight.substack.com/p/is-tommy-rob…

Recently a friend of mine referred to “seeker sensitivity in a MAGA hat” and now I’m noticing it everywhere.
“So you prayed for revival but then turned away everyone coming to faith?” “They were right wingers, Dave.” “Huh. They come to church and say they even want a Christian culture, and government, and you say ‘No’?” “Yes but the New York Times would have canceled my op-eds.”

More than a few people have endured “the talk”

Not just biblically allowed; biblically *required.* Love for God and neighbor means you must resist the spread of public idolatry that dishonors the Lord and harms people. Half the Old Testament was written to rebuke God’s people for allowing and participating in such things.
"Just watch. If Christians don't push back by continuing to express our beliefs confidently in public, we will continue to lose ground year on year until eventually such actions against Christian proclamation are no longer “ridiculous” but simply “the norm”, or even, “the law”."…

Whilst Islamic call to prayer bellows from speakers in every city, the police have finally taken away Christian street preacher Ollie Sabotelli’s amplification. They say his preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ is causing alarm and distress. We are a CHRISTIAN COUNTRY!

This is a great observation, which I think is sadly true.

Pitch perfect examples of “the talk” that reinforces the progressive gaze.
