Dr. Mohamed Benabdoun outlined the reporting obligations under the Banjul Charter. He noted that six States Parties have not submitted their initial reports, while seven are fully up to date. He also highlighted the Commission’s advocacy efforts, including technical workshops.
Mrs. Allegra Franchetti, Secretary to the UNCRC, outlined key challenges in State Party reporting and praised African States for their strong reporting record. She also highlighted opportunities for deeper collaboration between the ACERWC and the UNCRC under their MoU. #ACERWC35
