20th EU-AU Human Rights Dialogue: The EU-AU HRD serves as a vital platform for both Unions to assess the state of human rights in Africa and Europe, exchange experiences, and address key political and legal issues related to human rights protection and promotion. #Agenda2040



Participants are discussing strategies to enhance access to justice for children, address barriers affecting vulnerable groups particularly girls and promote effective engagement in child rights litigation at both national and continental levels. #AfricaFitForChildren #ACRWC35


The symposium brings together Committee Members, child representatives, legal practitioners, civil society organizations, academics, & child rights advocates to strengthen understanding of the Committee’s Communications Procedure under Art. 44 of the African Children’s Charter.




The African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child, with support from GIZ African Union, is currently holding a two-day Symposium on Litigating Children’s Rights Before the ACERWC at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, #Ethiopia (6–7 October 2025).
