Bitcoin is a commodity. Competition is good. Pyramid scams are a bad capital structure whether we live in snow crash crypto anarchy, free market or a hierarchically regulated one. Clearly Ponzis exist anyway, grey market. Question is in a regulated market do you legalize them.

Still smart contracts are fundamentally interesting and valuable, as posession is 9/10ths so if a financial instrument can self settle rather than trusting a back office and custodian for execution that's clearly more robust. some things don't need discretion,or even price freeds
But trusting rug-pull humans with privatized seigniorage, digital fiat, not so much. Think we proved that.
