Delighted to see @JonahPadawer's work using widefield optical imaging of calcium & hemodynamic activity in mice to determine if psychedelics (DOI) differentially affect neuronal vs. hemodynamic measures of brain organization (yep!) Awesome collab w/@realJoshSiegel & @jordacular !

We found a psychedelic (DOI) altered neurovascular coupling and differential changed neuronal⚡️📉 vs hemodynamic🩸 📈 brain activity 🧠. These findings have grand implications for interpretation of psychedelic fMRI. biorxiv.org/content/10.110… @realJoshSiegel @adamqbauer @jordacular
