Happy to be with @AARPCT volunteers at the Labor Committee today to support legislation to expand paid sick days. Current CT law doesn’t cover a majority of our state’s family caregivers, who are critical to keeping their loved ones safe and healthy. #teamaarp

Yesterday, I went to Target, and the cashier told the person ahead of me that their purchase totaled $23.19. A full day later, I'm still proud of myself for not yelling out, "we have a 2319!" even though I really wanted to.
It was a beautiful day on Capitol Hill, and @aarpct staff joined colleagues from around the country to visit members of Congress & share information about family caregiving and other issues that matter most to older adults. #AARPHillHike

Me: Ugh! Why does everyone in New England lose their mind every September and act like they’ve never experienced autumn before? Also me: *drives out of her way to look at a fancy steam-powered cider press and spend $1 million on apple-based beverages and pastries*
