Hamas purposefully took a large number of hostages because it knew that what it was planning for 10/7 would draw an overwhelming military response from Israel. The videos of the attack that terrorist sympathizers deny were filmed by Hamas on purpose. nytimes.com/2025/10/11/wor…
The irony is that the deal is exactly what the Israeli opposition has been calling for. The disagreement in Israel hasn’t been over actions but the sequence. Opposition wanted the hostages back, end the war, and give Hamas a chance to step down or go back in. That’s where we are.
