A few of our SLC and St. George 1st year students got together to try their skills at a ropes course last Friday! They look like professionals from where we're standing. #uofupt #HMHIROPES
Such a great experience this year! Thank you all so much @ASB2021_ATL @AmSocBiomech
#vASB2021 attendees, thank you for a great 2021 meeting! But, all good things must come to an end, so... Obama out... (oops, that's taken). That's a wrap! See you at #NACOB2022

Great study from Elizabeth Lane. Thanks @Foundation4PT for the support. More work to do moving research to practice. "Effectiveness of training physical therapists in pain neuroscience..." @PAINthejournal @UofUPT @annethackUT @JakeMagel @AussieLouie journals.lww.com/pain/Abstract/…
How interesting and inspiring that both of the @ASB2021_ATL Borelli Award talks - Steve Messier (2020) and @GlennFleisig (2021) - focused just as much (if not more) on the people we serve in #biomechanics as the science of biomechanics itself. #vASB2021
Wow, thought-provoking #vASB2021 keynote by Dr. @WallScheffler on biomechanics and human evolution. Thank you for a great lecture! @AmSocBiomech
#new @_JSAMS "When #puberty strikes: Longitudinal changes in cutting kinematics in 172 high-school female athletes" Grateful to @evpappas and co-authors for getting this across the line + @_JSAMS team & reviewers for enjoyable submission process 🔓 bit.ly/3AvmtdN 1/
In addition, check out all of our remarkable posters being presented throughout the conference! We are ready to talk #biomechanics #vASB2021
I am so excited for the opportunity to present!
#vASB2021 is finally upon us, and we have a lot of great things coming from our students this year! You won't want to miss out on these lightning talks!
This would be SO interesting to study in depth for sure!
How did @Simone_Biles overcome the Twisties?!? By breaking down the complex task to its most basic components? Repetition without the added affective stress? More internal focus? I MUST KNOW!?!?! Who studies this?!?!? Somebody @TeamUSA please explain 👀🤓
This will forever be the cue for my favorite time of year
Tonight we turned on the lights at Montana Hall and they will be on every night through the holiday season. May you enjoy the lights and may their beauty remind you that, soon, the darkness of this period will fade away... and a brighter future will come for us all.

We love being a part if this initiative! There is a lot of cool stuff in the works so stay tuned!

Gymnastics culture: “Time off is the worst thing for gymnasts. No more than 2 weeks off per year. Gymnasts will lose all their skills and power with an off season” Yet here we are after 3 months off & most gymnasts are doing just fine when smart, scientific training is used 🤔
