All I can say is hallelujah that one of the most thoughtful & sophisticated climate policy packages anywhere survived an election. It will need to be ramped eventually, but this was the first big test.
We know that the strongest economies and businesses in the future will be those that embrace clean technologies. 🔬 Today at @SwitchNRG in #OttawaCentre we announced that a re-elected Liberal government will commit to reach net-zero for Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions by 2050
This gives me a new vision of strength that I so need right now.

There is no basis for the “tax grab” concern. Feds keep zero. 90 per cent goes out as a household payment; 10 to small biz, schools, munis, etc. Annual measurement and reporting. With corrections the following year. The AG could verify this in their sleep.
