I agree. It is important to wait and see what comes out of the experiment. There are clear challenges and I am sure @eLife's leadership has thought them through. There might be unforeseen challenges as well. Not a reason to start opposing it before it has started.
Incredibly ironic how so many scientists are so opposed to running this eLife experiment...our job is literally to try new things and see what happens!

Currently there are 13 vacant ANC seats in Ward 5 dcboe.org/dcboe/media/PD…. Massive changes are to occur in Ward 5. Leaving these seats open leaves a strong possibility of no community input. Let’s not have ANY vacant ANC seats in DC. The work is to important.

As a former postdoc, agree 100%. Not sure what the solution is. Pay is the #1 issue.
