When I was presenting the afternoon show on Signal One in the 90s, Steve Wright visited the station as we took a syndicated weekend show he was doing at the time. He took the time to record some custom links for me, as I followed him at the weekend. Top man. Loved the show, Steve
Strong gusts whipped through Stalybridge, in Tameside overnight, damaging around 100 properties. No injuries were reported but many residents were forced to leave their homes. Our journalist Andy Hoyle reports from Stalybridge
