Tesla has killed the traditional car-buying model: No sales people. No finance room. No upselling. No pressure. No paperwork. No wasted time. Order your car online. Pay with Apple Pay. Then your car drives itself to you. All with zero human touch points. Long $TSLA.

The first fully autonomous delivery of a Tesla Model Y from factory to a customer home across town, including highways, was just completed a day ahead of schedule!! Congratulations to the @Tesla_AI teams, both software & AI chip design!

Regardless of how you feel about Tesla politically, it’s still one of the ten largest U.S. companies by market cap. As a result, Tesla is a major holding in retirement funds managed by Vanguard, Blackrock, Fidelity, State Street, and others. By cheering its downfall, you’re…

There’s not a single company (or space agency) anywhere else in the world that is pushing the boundaries on space flight the way SpaceX is. 🇺🇸

The most impressive people I know spent their time with their head down getting shit done for a long, long time.

Jeff Bezos on his routine, sleep, meetings, and decision-making. I revisit this often. "Your job is not to make thousands of decisions everyday. Is that really worth it if the quality of those decisions might be lowered if you're tired?"

This. Twitter and Threads: two very distinct social graphs without much overlap.

Threads is going to generate a bunch of buzz and then fade after a few months because the best Twitter posters don’t have enough of an overlap on Instagram (if they use it at all). Twitter is about the unique accumulated social graph + 15 years of habit.

The traditional car dealership model is broken. This is one reason (amongst many) why Tesla is winning and will continue to win. Direct-to-consumer is the way go to.

urgency is a hell of a drug if you find yourself addicted to the feeling that every moment counts—cherish it. urgency will feel quite unreasonable to most. as a general rule, most of the world is slow. ignore them. run fast. do something that shoots electricity into your veins

Increasingly feel we might be witnessing one of the best all-time CEO runs w Satya Nadella's stint at MSFT: acquisitions of LNKD, Github, Minecraft, Activision + made it super competitive in the cloud services market + recent moves w OpenAI. He's made the company exciting again!

Your ability to speak clearly is enhanced by reading (not listening) to books and by writing and journaling in complete sentences. Texting, voice dictation and audio books are wonderful but degrade articulation. Conversely, structured writing aids structured speech.
