We absolutely do not deserve the grace that God has given us in our current government. It is not perfect, of course, but it is LEAGUES, exponential leagues better than the trajectory it had been on for decades. We Christians need to be on our knees giving thanks.

A lot of people are mad that Christian’s draw their beliefs from the Bible, but they never offer up from which time-tested body of wisdom they draw their own beliefs. Surely they don’t just make them up or take them directly from pop-culture celebrities and the internet. Right?
There are legions upon legions of liberal theologians with PhDs who nonetheless believe and teach heresy. Christians should therefore be hesitant to commend an attitude of blind deference to "real scholars." Humble, biblical engagement is a better approach. See also John 7:48-49
Christian music does a lot more “I’m going to sing, in the middle of the storm” kind of lyrics, and not as much on Christ who is the actual basis of our ability to sing in the storm. We seem to feed people motivational anthems more than the glories of Christ.
